Rates Include:
Accommodation, 3 meals per day, game drives, optional bush walks, all local brand drinks + 14% VAT

Rates Excludes:
Conservation levy - Payable at Umlani Bushcamp R150.00 per person - subject to change
Vehicle permit - payable at the Timbavati Gate R 120.00 per vehicle - subject to change

Guide/Driver Rate:
The guide/driver/pilot accompanying a group will be charged R600.00 per night

Payments:

• 50 % deposit is required for confirmation of all reservations.
• Balance payable at Umlani Bushcamp.
• Payment can be made by Credit Card or bank transfer.

Cancellations:

• A 25% cancellation fee will be levied on confirmed bookings cancelled within 56 days of arrival.
• A 50% cancellation fee on total booking cancelled within 28 days of arrival.
• Full payment on confirmed bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival or not arriving without prior arrangement.

Important Information on Rates

If you have booked or enquired about Umlani through an agent or a Tour Operator we would encourage you to make use of their services. Often potential travellers check on rates and are surprised that they get better deals through agents or Tour Operators.

This is because Tour Operators negotiate competitive rates with us, Service Providers. Tour Operators, being bulk buyers, usually give their clients the benefit of the discount as it gives them a competitive edge in the market.

It is our duty as Service Providers to quote the rack rate (rates that are quoted to the general public) to travellers booking directly. Agents are also normally well schooled on the various products and can match a client well, to cater for their specific needs. The onus is on you to make sure that you are using a reputable agent or Tour Operator.

You can check this by making sure they belong to the various appropriate travel associations such as ASATA. The associations make sure that the agents and Tour Operators have adequate insurance in place to protect travellers from unforeseeable events.
