Complementary Shuttle Service from Johannesburg (JHB) to Hoedspruit (HDS)

Umlani Safaris is running a special offer with a local transfer company whereby if you book a 3 night or one week stay at Umlani on our special rate stated above we will throw in a return transfer from Johannesburg to Umlani and back again for free!

Daily return road shuttle service – both directions

Operating 364 days per year – No shuttles will operate on 25th December

Please note that this is a SHUTTLE service and NOT a PRIVATE transfer service. You will be sharing the transfer with other passengers. Pick up and drop off times are fixed and cannot be arranged to suit your arrangements. This is not a scenic route and only a couple of brief drink and toilet stops will be along the way. Drop off and pick up points are not at Umlani Bushcamp itself and an additional transfer to/from the drop off points will be organised by Umlani.

• The 10h30 departure from OR Tambo applies only to Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and commences on the 3rd October 2010
• This special is valid until 30 September 2011; Terms & Conditions are available on request
• At the discretion of management a fuel levy may be implemented at any time should fuel prices rise

• The above is purely a guideline as timing is affected by traffic, weather, comfort stops & road conditions
• Should unavoidable delays occur, the transfer company will make contact with the relevant agents, lodges & transfers
• Onward flights from OR Tambo should not be booked to depart before 21h00 in the event of delays

• Are clients who are not present at their accommodation facilities at the agreed collection time
• Are clients who are not present at the above locations shown in bold by the times shown in bold
• Will be responsible for their own transfer arrangements as the shuttle will not wait/return for them
• Will not be entitled to a refund and will be responsible for payment of the transfer in full

• The driver will have an "Ashtons Transfer Shuttle" signboard, as well as a list of all clients
• At time of reservation please specify pick-up & drop-off locations from the list below:-

A) Pretoria Accommodation Facilities
Shuttle clients can be collected from any accommodation facilities located in Pretoria at no extra charge.

B) Johannesburg Accommodation Facilities within 5kms of OR Tambo
Shuttle clients can be collected from any accommodation facilities located strictly within 5kms of OR Tambo at no extra charge. Requests for other JHB accommodation facilities will not be accommodated.

C) OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg)
Shuttle clients will be met in the hallway, right in front of the Europcar Rental offices, in the main car rental building at OR Tambo (follow the overhead Car Rental signs). Note: clients should not enter the actual Europcar Rental offices, but should wait on the metal chairs provided in the hallway.

D) Kamogelo Tourism Info Centre (Hoedspruit)
Shuttle clients will be collected from the actual Kamogelo Tourism Information Office in Hoedspruit. Note: clients can also wait at the Wimpy restaurant next door; if early enjoy a drink/meal (own cost).

E) Josmacs / Jos MacDonalds Pub (Timbavati Gate near Hoedspruit) Shuttle clients will be collected from the actual Josmacs pub, located a few metres before the Timbavati gate near Hoedspruit. If early, clients can enjoy a drink/meal at Josmacs while they wait (own cost).
